I’ve been an artist for as long as I can remember. Drawn to the way light shifts, color moves, and certain moments stay with you long after they’re gone. For more than 30 years, I’ve explored that feeling through design, photography, film, painting, sculpture, and anything else that allowed me to create something honest.
But the ocean has always been the constant. The place where everything gets quiet and makes sense again.
My time between California and Kailua-Kona continues to shape the way I see the world. The pull of the tide, the shift of light, the feeling of being fully present for a moment that can’t be repeated.
Every piece is less about capturing a place and more about holding onto a feeling.

Every painting I make starts as a one-of-one original, built with thick paint, movement, and whatever the ocean was giving me that day. If the original finds a home, it doesn’t disappear. It lives on as signed and numbered prints in a range of sizes, so the feeling sticks around.
And if you’ve got something personal in mind, a place, a memory, or just a vibe you can’t shake, I take on a small number of custom commissions too.
